Beregning av deteksjonssannsynlighet for mono-, bi- og multistatiske radarsystemer
Abstract
This report describes results from a mono-, bi- and multistatic radar cross-section simulator. Results presented show that a multistatic radar system has a significantly higher probability of detecting a low-signature target (stealthy object) than a mono- static radar system. Simulation results presented show the relation between the number of transmitters used and the probability of detection. By increasing the number of transmitters the probability of detection grows. Simulation results show that the probability of detection is higher at a frequency of 5.5GHz than at 9.5GHz, due to scattering. We have obtained equal results from calculations and measurements.
